1.0.1 building to simulator by default

Is it just me, or when you go to build a project with 1.0.1, does it default to build for the simulator (rather than “Device - | Release”). That’s what’s happening to me.

That’s the way it has been for me since 1.0. I just assumed that that’s the way that Unity builds the project (since I couldn’t find any setting to override it).

Kind of annoying, really, since Unity-created projects fail to build for the simulator (or, at least they failed with 1.0 – haven’t tried with 1.0.1 yet).

Strange, 1.0 always built straight to device for me. Not so in 1.0.1, and you’re right, it IS annoying!

Hi,

i have the same problem. i get some Xcode errors becouse of the wrong setting. After changing it to the correct one then it works.
