I’m having problems when I enable animations. As soon as I enable animations my characters face the wrong direction and move off the ground. Is there going to be an update for this? I have a fighting game in the works and having fly chars that don’t face each other every time they play animations is not good.
Hello!
It looks to me that the problems are in the animations itself :S, the animations start by rotating to the back.
at least that’s my guess ![]()
nope that’s not the problem because it is an idle animation which has no rotation. Plus why does the gameobject also move up in the Y axis as well? Also it worked fine before I upgraded. I hope they plan to fix these bugs with a 1.5.1 release very soon.
I had this same problem with some of my assets sigsom. I fixed it be copy/renaming the 3d model that has the animations and delete the original. Once it was re-imported it worked fine.
You might try right-clicking the asset and re-importing it from the pop-up menu before resorting to renaming/deleting it. I haven’t run into any animation issues with 1.5 so far, all of my stuff works exactly as it did before, so whatever you’re experiencing may not be a 1.5 bug.
It certainly sounds like the animation itself is simply reorienting your character, but if it just spontaneously started happening then I’m not sure what to make of that - I assume you have your character under some kind of master gameObject that has no animation applied to it?
