Here’s another one, based on the apps we made, iPad owners are more willing to pay higher prices than iPhone/Touch users, up to 3x more in our case ![]()
Those stats are misleading. Apps sell an average of 100,000 each eh? I think what that meant was ‘statistically, an app is downloaded 100,000 times’ (because free apps move thousands a day with ease).
I’d assure you that 95% of apps that hit the store won’t even make back the initial development fee. (There is validity to the counter-argument that 95% of the apps are crap).

The stats are interesting, and it’s nice to be excited every now and again. However after the brief excitement you should probably take a nice grain of salt… ![]()
