nice!
but oh no, separate account : |
Yeah, would be nice if I could vote with my asset store account.
It’s a bit confusing:
Hivemind is twice in that list. Shouldn’t that “Modular Castle & Dungeon” be the asset with the same name of NatureManufacture? The one of Hivemind is called “Modular Castle & Dungeon (Medieval Castle, Castles, Dungeons, Dungeon, Castle)”.
And there’s Gaia Pro 2023:
It got released in the time frame, but as major upgrade and it already has an award according to the asset description:
How is “First released” defined? Do major upgrades count as well as “First released”? In that case that information should be shared, I guess plenty of publishers may release major upgrades each year just to get a chance to be eligible for a nomination.
For eligibility, the asset as defined by the package ID (end of the URL) must have been released in the timeframe. Major upgrades qualify, as they have in the past as well.
That’s vital information, I guess everyone should do a major upgrade each year.
Also, that mechanism seems rather unfair, a brand new asset doesn’t stand a chance against an asset that has an accumulated user base of years. The outcome of this is obvious.
Unless I’m missing something how does this work? I just had to register. I was allowed to cast a vote. I didn’t even have to confirm the email address I entered. Neither did I get an email after I cast my vote in which I had to confirm my vote. So I guess the email address doesn’t even have to exist?
