Well as the title says, 16x does not work at all, only 6x and below, not sure if anyone else has had this issue but I’ve done the obvious things like restarted unity and reinstalled etc, but doesn’t quite seem to help. Funny cause all of a sudden it started to happen. Sent a bug report just in case, anyone know whats up?
What do you mean “it does not work”? There’s no AA at all? Or there is no difference compared to, say 6x AA?
FWIW, I’m not sure if any GPU supports real 16xAA. I don’t quite know why we put that option in there when there are no GPUs that can do it…
16x AA looks like there is 0x AA, others have had this problem im sure of it, i have a good gpu, a 460gtx 1gb gddr5 with the latest driver, so im sure thats not an issue, and btw, my gpu supports 32x aa… ive tested it on a game and works, im guessin its just a bug in unity.
Unity has been doing some odd stuff, for example my decals didn’t have any AA either, until I screwed around with the texture itself it was fine… for now. Not sure whats going on.
But does it also do so in DX9 and not just DX10+?
Uhm im not sure, I didn’t know I had the ability to change it, I know my gpu supports DX11 but i never set anything, its all default settings and automatically installed drivers.
Anyone? This is kinda frustrating
Hi, I have this same problem on Unity from 2.6 to 3.1.
I’m using Windows 7.
OSX Here, 16x AA from project settings is ok
I have feeling that this problem with AA is corelated with SSAO…
It is possible?
