2.2.1 or 3.0

I’m curious what OS do you build to? It is my understanding that 2.2.1 has a higher incidence of piracy, but a lot of iPod users still use it because 3.0 is not free.

I know this has been discussed from time to time but I’m wondering if opinions have changed now that 3.0 has been out for a long time and 4.0 is on the horizon.

“a lot” = below 5% at very best.
any gamer has invested the $5 long ago.

Fact is that since 3.1.2 the iPhone SDK does no longer even offer to target 2.x
