2-3 hr cant update 68.1mb from asset store, looks like its cloudfront servers

ok some details issue is at like server-54-230-232.atl50.r.cloudfront.net

ive done tracerts and its not issue there

it just does not download and when it does its like 22k/s which is very sad

eventually it just stops downloading and connection closes but no error being reported

ive been at it for 2-3 hrs now. some attempts ive allowed to continue for well over 1 hr and nothing really happening

i started noticing these issues sort of when you all did your last update

i also notice when it dies it goes to 75.126.69.147-static.reverse.softlayer.com

so is it one of thse servers i see unity hitting

sadly it never gets the 68.1 mb fully

i also notice firefox hitting softlayer.com so that has to be uall. do you have like one server u share for both like for login… or verification and verify login every so often

the best i got was to 40% and then nothing more…

ok finally saw some error message but it briefly flashes and then goes away

it tells me its unable to download ufps ultimate fps and it says the number of byes but it does not say why and it goes away too quickly for me to get more. sadly nothing in the unity editor logs. or in the event log.

so one thing is clear its happening on those server and unity3d needs to log errors ok… and not just put a popup that goes away in less than couple seconds. put a ok button make sure it stays up. its unrecoverable error

the asset store then just shows the percentage that it ended at and it explains why no more… still the error message also did ot say much so it would be good to have error code and at least some reason why it could not download. like it timedout and who iit was… which was most likely the case

so not its over 3 hours and no download…

I’ve just tried to download it and it worked just fine. Are you still able to reproduce those errors?
