Hmm maybe add some explanation of controls. I just see blue, brown and a blob in the middle. Only thing I could do was walk off the brown thing with my blob thing. :smile:

controls are slow though,…and you need to move your mouse off the intended brick and then back to get the green to show after you move.

Could be a cool Dig Dug type game.,…

Well, the player it self will be 3d model and yes… it is some wierd thing atm.

Welby: Well, i was thinking of changing the movement to block/grid based. like you can move block by block.

Is everything auto generated? That’s awesome if so. I think I would enjoy it more if the digging was quicker, takes too long to move down

well, the digging is slow in this update, cause im testing the delay of how long it will take with the correct level/tool you have. i will scale the delay down… And yes, it is autogenerated.

Updated some textures and also added Gold to the game…

decreased the amount of ores spawned! (there were too many spawned)

Completely locks up after a few moments. Feels like you’ve got a loop in there or some heavy stuff happening in an update. Pretty unplayable at the moment.

Umh, i fixed it but i havent updated yet… im cantuse my pc stm.

Nice concept, one small thing would be to put the needed exp after the current exp as it would make more sense.

Observations:

When I dig, and the character falls down a block, or moves sideways, I’ve got to move the mouse away from the next block and over back onto it to make it go green. Otherwise, clicking on it doesn’t do anything because it’s not highlighted in green.

Some rocks I can’t dig some I can.

Being able to jump back up 1 block would be nice.
Higher res character would be nice too! Reminds me of the good old N64 area! :slight_smile:
Would also attract more interest and more comments.

a little message saying what level a rock needs to be able to be mined; would be great. Like if you clicked an ore that needed a level of 7, a message pops up saying something like “This ore requires you to be level 7 to mine it”

As I get farther down, my guy somehow doesn’t really fit in the holes; he’s a tiny bit too big.

Yes, the messages are going to be scrpted into the game soon, and the player will actually be a 3d model. (Robot in this case).
I have it drawn, i just need to take a pic of it and start modeling.
