2 Colliders on 1 object

First of all i am aware that there are tons of other questions like mine, and i have read most of them. The thing is that pretty much all other topics offer the only solution - to separate colliders into different GameObjects.
The problem is that colliders need non-kinematic rigidbodies to work, but i really cant add second rigidbody in my case.

Here is my situation:

In my game player controls a ball, so i need to have 2 colliders: a sphere one for actual rigidbody movements and physics and another is about one third of a sphere for checking if player is grounded.

What should i do? I am really looking forward for some kind of answer cause right now im completely stuck.

Okay, i finally figured it out. Turns out colliders actually work with parent rigidbodies.
