2018 memory leak in profiler timeline view

This is actually reproducable with just an empty scene, it just takes much longer. In a more complex scene it climbed very steady in timeline view and stops when you go to hierarchy. Took under 10 minutes to go from what should have been a stable 2.5gb ram usage to 7gb ram.
