The version 2020.1.0f1 has removed the asset store from the editor for performance and requires you to download from the unity store. However the web generated URL won’t open when you click in “open in unity”. I’ve tried disabling all anti-virus, vpn and even adblocks, but it won’t help. tried also refreshing the page and reloading unity. It seems as if version 2020.1.0f1 does not accept custom packages from the unity store - at least for me.
Starting with 2020.1, Assets purchased from the Asset Store are now located in the Package Manager.
Select the “My Assets” filter to see your list of available Asset Store packages.
