Hi, we encountered a serious issue with our heavy scenes (50mb). Until 2022.1 beta 8 everything was fine (5 secs loading time in editor) but starting from beta 9 and until now we can’t load scenes any more (busy progress that takes 20-30 minutes and no luck, didn’t tested longer ). When scene is edited and prefabs are reduced by 3/4 then we can open this scene in 2min time
There is no specific editor.log messages. Also tested only with empty transforms (meshes removed) problem still occurs. Seems like deserialization issue maybe…

Same, when scene contains a lot of prefabs it seems to give up. Problem occours only in beta 9 and higher. Sometimes Unity loads the scene slowly but it can take like an hour or two. In my case the problem are trees and foliage in general, there’s just a lot of instanced objects that Unity can’t handle anymore.
