Like the title says, Post Processing don’t work in the Scene-View with Unity 2022.2.0b12. In the Game-View it works though. Tested with URP only.
Do you have the Post Processing enabled in the dropdown? It’s working for me,
Yes Post Processing is activated and not working in Scene-View. It was working fine with 0b10 but stopped working with 0b12.
If it’s replicable file a bug report
The last time I filed a bug report, the bug was way faster processed through the forums (the bug report took more than 1 month to be noticed I think).
I mean, it’s replicable by creating a new URP project and using Post Processing, it really can’t get any more obvious than this .
In case it’s really not resolved with the next beta, I will file a bug report :).
However most likely this forum post will be sufficient (I hope^^).
The only way to guarantee for a report to be seen is to make a bug report. Forum posts can go unnoticed easily.
The best way is to file a bug report and then attatch the report ID to a forum post, incase a dev is looking at the forums
Not sure it’s something to replicate. This happens to me as well.
You just open a project and post-processing just doesn’t work in scene view by default.
Then make a bug report if it worked in another verdion
Since Post Processing is still broken with the new Unity 2022.2.0b13 version in the Scene-View, I filed a bug report regarding the case.
CASE IN-21452
In the short term, swap your upscale filter to FidelityFX Super Resolution 1.0. You might want to adjust the sharpness but it produces good results & fixes the scene view not having post processing applied. If you’re able, update the bug report too. I was unable to find it, so it may not have been verified/approved yet.
Edit - the option is found in your Universal Render Pipeline Asset, under Quality.
Thanks for providing a workaround!
I updated the bug report with your additional information. I also added a link to this forum post :).
Bug is still present in Unity 2022.2.0b15.
Unity 2022.2.0b16 still has this issue. Can you share public issue tracker link?
I reported the bug by using unitys bugreporting tool from inside the editor. I don’t know if this type of reporting creates a public issue tracking link.
Also confirming this on 2022.2.0b16.
Unity 2022.2.0f1 still has this issue! Sad
Yeah sadly it does. However I received an email yesterday which stated that the status for the issue updated from review to confirmed :).
Do you mind sharing the URL of the Issue tracker page? I can’t seem to be able to find this issue on the issue tracker, even by searching the issue ID you provided I think Unity’s Issue tracker just sucks.
Indeed, would you be so kind as to share the Unity issue url? Thanks so much!
Sure, that’s the URL written in the bug report: https://issuetracker.unity3d.com/product/unity/issues/guid/UUM-21004
However you will probably receive the same error es me:
The new id “UUM-21004” was additionally assigned by Unity after confirming the bug :).
