2022 - VFX Property Binder (Position) only working when VFX Graph is open?

I’m not exactly sure what’s happening here…

The property binder does work. It’s just that when I close out the VFX Graph window, the position binders become orange instead of green, and now they no longer function. I don’t ever remember having that problem in Unity version 2021.

Is this a new thing with 2022? Are these property binders no longer needed? Or, am I missing something here?

This is my VFX Graph -

This is on the game object -

Those boxes are currently green with VFX Graph open. As soon as I close that tab, they turn orange and this no longer works in scene view or play mode.

Does Unity 2022 handle this differently now? Or, is this some sort of bug, perhaps?

Unity 2022.2.8f1

Am I just missing something here? Does anyone else have this problem in 2022?

Would anyone mind testing this and letting me know if you have the same issue?

This has apparently been fixed in at least 2022.2.14f1. Not sure about earlier versions.

Just wanted to post an update, in case anyone Googles this same problem.

Hi @OrsonFavrel I’m finding this bug again in 2022.3.0 and the hack to open vfx graph won’t work for Cloud Builds. Any ideas to stop this from happening?
