I would really love some assistance in making my 2d character perform an effect of blasting which is an animation clip but I seem not to find a way out. The effect is an animation clip that should be performed when I press a certain key and appear for a while. The effect is separate from the player animation. There is the blast effect/VFX animation clip and the animation clip of the player doing a stunt to make the effect visible (Hope that makes sense).
Steps to success:

make this “blast” animation you speak of, adding it into your current Animator state struct
