2d on trigger enter

hey so im trying to make a coin dissappear when my player hits it, this is my first 2d script. I know how to do it in 3d but can you guys help me out.

var newme : GameObject;
var mushroom : GameObject;

function OnTriggerEnter2d(Col : Collider2D) {
if (Col.CompareTag(“Player”)) {
me.transform.position = Vector3(0, -1000, 0);
newme.SetActive(true);
mushroom.SetActive(true);
me.SetActive(false);
}

The ‘d’ in the name of the OnTriggerEnter2d function is lowercase. It needs to be uppercase like this: OnTriggerEnter2D( Col: Collider2D ).
