2D Platformer Tutorial Immediate Console Error

Hi,

I just downloaded and unziped the 2D Platformer tutorial, opened the scene like it said in the pdf but I immediately get an error in the console;

Animation "idle" cannot be played because it can not be found.

I select the Lerpz prefab and in the inspector panel all of the animations are “missing”

I’ve reimported all the assets but no difference.

Has anybody else had the problem or know a way to fix it?

I’m getting the exact same problem in the 3rd Person Platformer complete project.

Just checking the 3D tutorial here and it works OK, but this is on a Mac - are you using Windows? Also, in the Lerpz prefab, is “Split Animations” checked in the Inspector panel?

Hi Andeeee,

Yes I am on a Mac. Split animations checkbox is checked in the FBXimporter panel but I can’t see it in the prefab panel. Did you mean the FBX panel?

I think the animations are not being imported for some reason.
