2d prefab question

I am making a pipe type game and I have a prefab called ‘Pipe’ which is just a cube with a texture on it (of a particular shape of pipe). I have 12 pipes that i need to represent.

can you have one prefab with multiple sprites (i.e. Frames) like an animation and show a particular frame (pipe) at runtime?

is this possible?

Yes, you can do this. Have a root object with a script that activates one of the child objects (sprites). Make it a prefab and instance as required.
