I think making 2D worlds should by easy like sketching some lines and simple shapes. That’s why I started to write a plugin for Unity over the past few months.
It consists of two parts.
The first part let draw geometry likes polygons and polylines like you would sketch lines or draw colors in painting software.
The second part is a node editor with currently around a hundreds node types, which let you define how the mesh and colliders are created from that geometry.
If you like to see more, watch my video. Just to warn you, I recorded it on an early Sunday morning, it’s a lil stuttered. It’s also to say I am not an artist, please also forgive me that.

Let me know what you think and which features you like the most.
This is and impressive plugin.
I like a lot the drawing lines feature to make the level , this is an awesome idea somewhat like Sketchup tool.
Do you plan to support animated sprites like animated grass on top of rock surfaces ?
Do you plan to use the draw lines tool to paint decorative items like rocks or trees on background ?
How many layers could we paint ? Forground, main level, background ?
Keep it up.
It is possible to draw line and the tool will find the medium points to make one streight line only
It seems when we draw lines the tool will find the bezier curve to make it a well rounded line, can we choose how many segments details we need for the curved line ?
