Hello everyone. I am here to show off my very early alpha stage game. The name is still undecided. Allow me to give you guys a brief explanation of the game, then I will show off what I have so far.
Game Explanation:
This game is an RPG similar to Pokemon. You will catch monsters and train them. You will battle with them and face other tough trainers. The major difference that this game will have from Pokemon is it will be online. You will be able to befriend other players. You will be able to fight other real players if you want to. This game will also be updated daily. Maybe even multiple times a day! It will be to keep the game new and fresh. I personally don’t like games that give one big update once a month. I prefer games that have a tiny update every day. I know a lot of other people prefer that too. These updates can be as small as a single bug fix, to a new item or monster, to an entire new region to explore!
Game Progress:
So far, I have 3 sprites for monsters done. They are not 100% done, but it is a main idea of what they will look like. I also have the first area done, which is called Crystalline Lake. I have the lake itself done, but not the house. The house will be where you get your first monster. Here is a look at what I’m talking about:
Spriggo:
Spriggo is a flame and metal type that evolves into Spriggas.
Spriggas:
Spriggas is a flame and metal type. It is very powerful, but doesn’t have good defenses.
Fleafa:
Fleafa is a leaf and sky type. I am considering make it a legend type which makes it super powerful and super rare.
Crystalline Lake:
Crystalline Lake is the starting point of everyone’s adventure. The top right corner is where the house will be where you get your first monster. (I am calling them monsters until I get a name for them) Crystalline in French means Crystal Clear in French. However, I spelt it differently so if you use Google Translator to see if I’m right and see I spelt it wrong, I did that on purpose.
