I am having trouble grasping how to go about 2D combat with a Turn Based Mechanic. There are many tutorials on how to go about it but none are what I am kind of looking for. Exploration (Outside of combat) seems doable but I am looking to implement a QTE mechanic with a turn based combat mechanic. (I.e Legend of Dragoon)
It is 2D and pixel sprites if that is any help or complication.
Any advice would help. Thanks!
