Why doesn’t 3.4.2f3 when you click on check for updates, see 3.5.0 as an update?
It’s a safety measure. Once 3.5 has been out for a few weeks and has proven not to be disastrous we’ll turn on 3.5 as the next auto update… that’s when the majority of people will start upgrading.
Makes sense, was wondering if I needed to download the install and use on my pro license machine or not, still waiting on the price for the flash license.
Well lets do ti.
Is there a link I could follow that tells me when I can update my 3.4.2f3 unity pro to 3.5.x? I can’t find any information about what’s going on with this and I’m a bit nervous about what’s happening with my pro license investment. There’s some interesting packages available in the asset store that I’d like to check out and develop into my games but they require unity 3.5.
Nothing happens to your license when you upgrade to .x or .x.x versions. They are all free.

Thanks, Eric, I installed Unity 3.5.2f2 after downloading it separately and installed it over the top of my existing installation to find that it’s working fine.
