Well , i guess now its safe to say that the re-projected date of release will be “re-projected” again soon?
I realise mostly everyone is off toying around with the beta, but as you can not roll back your project, and due to a few people griping about it destroying their content, i have decided against playing around with the beta, and instead just continuing on with 3.4 That said , i havent really heard much talk about it the couple weeks or so. Just wondering if anyone has an inside scoop.
Seems as if maybe Blizzard got their hands into unity release date never comes … j/k
What robert said five days ago: “It’s too late to add any features to 3.5, we are releasing it very soon now.”
Looking forward to release!
You simply keep a backup, which you should always be doing anyway.

Haha , i have many backups , but as i also said , too many people complained about it ruining their stuff. So better safe than sorry. On the other side , most of these cases usually come down to user fault ( i know my issues sure do, hehe) At any rate , good to hear it should be soon , looking forward to seeing whats new.
If you have a backup, then clearly it can’t be ruined…it’s a backup. It’s not touched by 3.5.

Haha , i suppose your logic defeats my stubborness , damn you Eric!
EDITED : PS Eric, While i seem to have your attention, i would like to ask , is there any huge benefits (i am only a mere free user) to 3.5 that i might incorporate if i did use the beta? As i understand the PathFinding features are pro only, so im not sure if theres alot of reason to upgrade it atm? Not to worried about the pathfinding, although i thought it would be hella cool to not have to write it all , no biggie.
Can you also keep a backup of the webplayer before it was updated to 3.5 and roll that back?
Same thing , just back up the old files before you compile. This was never really my biggest issue , the backups … More so , i just wasnt sure if it would be a fight working with 3.5 with the reported issues i had noticed. Seems though that most threads posting issues are relating to pro features within , so i guessing i should be fine.
