3.5 Specular shader complains about missing tangents

Hi All
I have just installed 3.5 and converted my project over but I am now getting a warning on every object that uses the basic specular shader saying that the shader wants tangents but the mesh doesnt have them, why does the specular shader suddenly want tangents when it has been happy not to have them before and how do I go about fixing this.

Also almost all the image effect shaders gave errors about not having enough registers to do stuff and that something to do with fog was not supported in flash builds even though I have never choosen flash build. Do I need to reimport the image effect scrips and shaders or something to fix all these problems?

Tangents are required for normal mapping. It’s possible the models Inspector settings have changed to not import or calculate tangents?

Thanks farfarer but the models are not using any normal mapping it is just the bog standard Specular shader and in 3.4 all was fine no warnings about missing tangents, but in 3.5 every object that has a specular shader gives a warning.

you know 3.5 is still beta and not an actual release. So strange kind of problems may occur.

Checked the homepage lately? 3.5 has been released for a few days now.

Oh really, I thought the announcement of 3.5 release yesterday was for proper release.

Oh i just checked the download page and it is so. I should upgrade immediately.
