3 Wood Tables

Here are my three wood table models.
They all use the same 2048x2048 texture
They are 30 polygons each.
They include a 2048x2048 normal map.
They include a fake shadow on a 2 poly plane. (Not the Unity built in plane)
The textures are smooth and clean, and are easy to edit.
The texture is easy to understand.

These tables are good for mobile or 3rd person games.
These tables are good for games with markets.

Please let me know if you would buy these tables with some other market related stuff, or if they would sell fine on their own.

I was thinking $3.00 for all of the following:
-3 models
-one 2048x2048 diffuse
-one 2048x2048 normal
-fake shadow planes (not projector)

What do you guys think?

any comments?

I would create versions with breakable joints maybe…? or breakable versions of these…

Just a thought.

Also, I’m not sure tables warrant two 2048 textures, which would be pretty expensive in a mobile app.

Maybe provide 512x512 as well?

Okay

Just a comment about the textures, having them in 2048 is good, you can always scale them down in unity to fit your needs, that’s a smart way to work in unity too.

not to sound negative or anything but you can actually pretty clearly see the seam between the texture you have put after the first, you tried to mask it with blur, but it quite clearly visible, looks great otherwise:)

Not trying to put you down or anything but you might want to model something more interesting.
This is like selling cube. 15 cubes actually.

Maybe the same table with a nice patterned medieval tablecloth on top? Just a little bit more effort and it will make all the difference.

How about cutting a hole in the middle and make it transparent glass?

How about making the table top glass, put a nice table cloth

I’ll make some table cloths and some chairs to go with it.

Oh another minor point… you can also get rid of 4 polygons (8 triangles) at the top of the table legs joining the table top. They aren’t ever going to be seen. That’s a huge saving of 4 polygons!

There are no polygons there.
I didn’t make this table out of primitives.
Look at the Webplayer.

My mistake, I was just looking at the picture and “30 polygon” description.
