3D animated models for a FPS

Hi,

I´m looking for some models for my FPS (First-Person Shooter) game. It’s for an Undergraduate Thesis and I just want some free or cheap animated models which don’t slow down too much the game.

For free I’ve found some interesting models but they aren’t too much coherent among them (one is a zombie, another a robot, another an alien…), and I need at least 5 or 6. Also I want most of them to be able to carry weapons.

Also I´ve found this web: TheGameCreators - TheGameCreators. There are some large animated packs for good prices. But they don’t say nothing about polys or rendering and I’m worried about this.

Do you think it’s a good idea to buy any or should I seek for other sources?

Or do you know any place, free or cheap, where I can get the models?

I know I’m asking for too much, but I will really appreciate any suggestion.

Try sending them an e-mail and ask about poly/count, textures and unwrapping style. They usually answer them.
