3D audio - how to make it work?

I have a camera and an audio source in my scene.
What I expected was, that the volume of the sound would change, when I move the audio source further away from the camera. But it doesn’t (no matter how far I go) :frowning:

The audio source is set to logarithmic rolloff. I also changed the max distance to several values, including 1. Still the sound is at full volume all the time.

What do I need to do to get 3D audio actually working?

Make sure that “Spacial Blend” of the Audio Source is set to 3D. If that’s already the case you want to tweak the attenuation settings.
