Nice models. How are they breakable? By collision or by triggers or by clicks or what?
How “easy” is it to change methods?
Is the purchaser able to change “break methods” without any scripting?
Might be an idea to give further info. on this?

Each of prefab has two versions (1st: in perfect condition, 2nd: in pieces). 1st version has script atached to it. Script contains public void. Calling this void will simply remove 1st version and replace it with second.

So no solution without coding if you looking for on collision. Although your Reply was so useful feedback that will ad needed features In order to make it happend.

ok Gents! Thx to vertexx feedback manage to develop small update with OnCollisionEnter implementation. Now it’s possible with setting up expected OnCollision behaviour type (None, Destroy, Tag_Comparsion)

Good move there. I think it’s a great boon to have those options available. Much easier to implement for those not really inclined to coding/scripting :slight_smile: Good luck with this. There are a few “breakable” assets available in the Store but I think this one is showing more options and probably ease of use. Keep up the good work !! I guess there will be an update to the Store soon.

Hi, all there is giveaway of this asset ongoing on Tweeter!

Just tried out your NEW version (1.2) Good update with new scenes and more collision options.
With a few “shatter/breakable” assets about in the Store it can be hard to choose or guess the one you want.
This one however is the most intuitive, quick, easy asset of it’s type. Propriety maybe but you’ll find it invaluable for having fun…making a quick game… or just prototyping for experimentation. One used seldom forgotten.
Maybe in the future, Catborg Studio will add various game objects to the menu so’s to shatter and dismantle!

Hi all, start considering preparation of update of 3D Breakable Pottery Low Polly Pack. Maybe you have some suggestions what could be added with next release?

Maybe some 3D targets of various types and designs?
Your asset is a quick, no bother setup and it’s use will probably be for those wishing the same.
Having the “shattering” pre-done and the collisions readily available is the main benefit of this asset.
Now if you can vary the types of “targets” it will surely add to it’s functionality?

Thx, for reply @vertexx . Will consider your suggestion for bigger update. So far manage to include some pottery smashing sounds. As game developer know how hard is look for free sounds for our projects. So included some sounds in order to make 3D Breakable Pottery as easy to use as it’s possible. Hope someone will make good use of it.

Ok, had some “spare” time so will work on asset update. As @vertexx suggested will add some more target types: so working on Wooden Barrels and Crates /Boxes etc… had some more ideas? Drop them below or join Discord to add them

For those using Version2. Unity 2021.3.8 MUST be used.
Earlier 2021 LTS versions do not behave correctly with the embedded materials.
Also I believe that in the “collision” scene the manager needs to be set to “Collision” manually?

Thx for feedback. Will fix this manager seeting. And will check up this material issue. Can you provide me some picture/ more info about this material problem? In this version started using albedo value of texture as amount of metalic/ speculant reflection.

All materials show up as “pink”. I’m sure you know that colour :slight_smile:
Fixed by changing the shader you use to "standard or normal or whatever.
Probably OK in your preferred Unity Version? I guess it’s ok as you would have noticed!?

Still worth every cent.
Easy to use and fun to watch with no setup to be chewing those nails for.
Maybe options for explosion force?

(+) adding some How To videos materials IOT make developer’s life easier :slight_smile:
