3d but short distance

I’m new to unity, but I want my character to see 50 units around them, as the character walks forward, I’d like the scenery to come up from the ground at the horizon, and then to move closer to the player.

Like, you’re standing on a cube in the middle of the top side, and as you walk forward the depth comes up as you walk that way and goes away then down as you walk away from it.

Id think it would have to be a circle so it’s all directions

Any ideas how I can achieve this?

The least effort is via shaders. There are packages that already do this, if you are willing to spend some money (like Horizon Bending | Particles/Effects | Unity Asset Store, no affiliation, untested, just randomly picked one)
