3D Coat + unity Problem

Hello !

I have problem with 3D coat and Unity. When i export .obj model from 3d coat to 3DS max and from 3dsmax to the unity ( as normaly ) model loses all what i have painted to the model! Its very annoying because i spent more than couple of hours to make textures with 3d coat.

What i should do?

do you apply your texture in unity on your model after your import
I dont think 3dcoat have to do any with this as long you get your model and your texture from your painting on 3dcoat

okey i found how to apply it to the object, it works , just need make much adjustments…

I bought Messiah so I wouldn’t have to go back to 3DS Max. That pipeline was a pita. If you took advantage of that Messiah offer, then you can model in 3DS Max, then bring it into 3D Coat to UV an paint it, then on to Messiah to either export it to fbx or animate then export to fbx. There is a 3D Coat / Messiah app that “links” those together for an easy pipeline.

I also have Pro version of messiah, and im not importing that back to 3dsmax, just staright to the unity- Got it working after all :slight_smile:
