hi. I am new to unity, and I made/distorted a displacement to start.
upon placing a light entity, I tried to move it. I couldn't move it without moving the displacement as well. it seemed to have grouped.
any idea what I should do?
i think you added the light as a child to your displacement. you should drag it and remove it from the displacement's tree. if you select an object and then add another, the new one will become the child of the other. you can drag it to remove this limitation see parenting at the bottom of the linked page for more information.
