3d models looks so ugly in editor...

Hello

I got the model here:

http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/glass-pool-table-3d-model/666184

I imported it as a 3ds model but in editor and also at runtime it looks like this:

Why?

What do I need to do to get the original quality?

It looks like some of the sub-objects are disoriented. You can rotate them manually. What does it look like in Maya/Blender/Max?

I dont know…I just bought it and I know that 3ds models can be imported in Unity!

Does the object have any materials assigned to it?

How do I know that?

i would suggest learning about Materials and shading before you ask “What do I need to do to get the original quality”.

From what i can tell from the Turbosquid page. The model has no Game-ready UV’s and is just projected in 3DS MAX.
it has no textures either and is just a material using settings in 3DS MAX Vray materials.
You will not get the quality in any game-engine without the proper UV’s and Textures

Hm, thanks for the reply…

I submitted a request to TurboSquid to make me a proper conversion.

If this fainls, I will simply ask for my money back
