This is my 1 year that i work with 3ds max and i say ITS AWESOME ! its so cool what can u make in it and u can use other 3d software ![]()

1 year working on max huh :\
I add some new images
How i can sell them anyway x) ?
you can sell off of turboSquid… I have never used it myself… so I don’t know how it works.
Its all the same, making stuff in 3d is more about perceiving the world from an architectural stand point than it is about software.
When you see a bench do you see a place to sit? Or do you see a structurally sound, beautifully and painstakingly designed work of art created to suit the needs of the user and the device in harmony. Do you see the edge flow, the structural lines, the negative space playing with the objects composition, the intricate detailing, and its overall impact in the world.
3d art is all about space, the world around you is the best example of space there is but its often overlooked, train your brain to see the world as if it was apart of the editor, remove details and colors and replace it with shape and form. Build the lines first in your mind and then in your editor, remake things often, especially something easily recognizable, i like to use a P90 and a Berreta M9 as my remakes, every year or so i make them again to see my progress.
Try multiple editors, and if you can find it there is a free version of 3dsmax called Gmax its got 90% of the features max does but no scan-line or ray trace render engine so you cant make tasty renders.
There are also several styles of modeling, here are a few of the core types:
Box modeling - my favriot and my core style
Plane modeling - almost the same as box modeling but uses edge extruding more than polygon extruding
Spline modeling - uses Splines and face extrude to make things like faces and hands
Nurm modeling - dont use it to much but its like spline+plane modeling
paint to 3d - Zbrush photoshop and flash can do this
Learn to use all the styles together and were needed and you should have no problem making anything from a cockroach to a spaceship.
Nice one
I like that.

Very cool, they’re basic models, but you made a basic model very interesting. You also did a good job with the detail work and that really sets it apart IMO. I really like them, keep us updated on how they sell ![]()

not bad, altho not very time consuming to make that you would want to sell them… you might want to smooth out the edges on the curved part and the top part that caves in, it gives it the realistic look when everything is smoothed out
