3d object on GUI

Hello everyone! i should render a 3d object (a sphere) on a Gui element (a GUI.Button). How can i do this? I’ve read an answer but i haven’t understood very well how to do it.
I have to duplicate the camera i’m using, right? and then, have i to disable the gui elements on the cloned camera? what i have to write inside the OnGUI function? Thanks again!

Well the gui, regardless if it is thru OnGUI or the old guisystem, will always be drawn on top of everything else.

If you add a second camera with a higher Depth, It will work likewise.

So your only bet would be to use a third party solution for your entire GUI.
