3D Object Orientation Resets during GamePlay

I imported a 3D building into Unity 3D.Everything was correct, but one thing: once I got all the orientation settings (scaling, rotation, translation) to what I want, I played the game. Next thing you know, Unity nefariously and intentionally resets all the orientation settings, back to 0. This annoyed me so much, and nothing I could do to fix it. Please help me!

As alucardj said: the root of your object is animated and you most likely want to disable that, by either setting animation import to “Don’t import” or Animation “Play on awake” to false.
