Introduction & Summary
We’re 6 years into the project with 5 core team members.

Our indie team is working on We Might Die on Steam and we’re looking to find someone who’s hungry to learn and ready to get serious on a project. We want to mentor this person in both the game development pipeline, as well as industry standard software development practices like Git version control and Agile Development.

PC Rogue-like Sci-Fi Mech-based First-Person Shooter

The Idea
Salvage Spaceships, Gear Up, Survive the Alien Swarm. Mech-based survival game set in deep space, where an alien swarm is quickly approaching your home ship. You and your team of robots will salvage procedurally-generated ships to gain the resources you need to escape the star system intact.

Progress

You can check out the progress on our Steam page and our website for the game. The core game loop is nearly complete, but we have a lot of asset creation work needed to fully populate our procedural generation scripts, add new skills/robots, enemies, and boss fights.

What We Are Looking For

  • Junior or Senior C# Programmers looking to gain experience working as a team and following industry standard practices like Git version control and Agile Development, who have a track record for completing prototypes on their own.
  • 3D Environment Artists, who specialize in low poly hard-surface modelling. Experience with Trim Sheets would be stellar but not required.
  • Junior Visual Effects Artists that are excited about the idea of making cool effects with Shader Graph & VFX Graph for robots blasting away aliens.
