3D / Spatial Audio what's its state in 2021 ?

Spatial Plugin in Unity is only “None”.

I slided spatial of AudioSource to 3D and positioned in scene.

I was not sure circling the source produced an effect as it could, using Atmos Headphones.

Does 3D Audio / Spatial Audio (not VR, not necessarily HRTFs) work in Unity or on * at all in 2021 ? :slight_smile:

Spatial Plugin in Unity set to “None” means it will use builtin FMOD (horizontal only) spatialization - you definitely get positional difference with it -
Resonance / Oculus spatializers must be imported separately
