This new version of the top down shooter gamekit let you help to make very adictive top down shooters in 3D that have made popular with games like Minigore and Guerilla Bob.

• 2 Types of player control: Typical Top Down Shooter and over-the-top third person shooter (Like ShadowGrounds games).

it looks allot like ‘The last stand’ imo (Buy Plugins & Code from CodeCanyon)
but with less features, at a higher price.
even the character movement is the same

The only advantage of Last Stand over 3D Top Down Shooter Gamekit are the art assets included on Last Stand(I´m not 3D artist, I´m Gameplay Programmer). I´ve spend 2 month for make this gamekit the more generic and more customizable possible. Every Script and every global variable from 3DTDSG is fully customizable for make unique and better games than the example exposed on Game Prefabs Store.

The main target of this product is shorten the game development time of these type of games.

There is another type of control movement inside the package that isn´t shown on the preview, it´s an over the-top-third person camera movement (you rotate the camera and the player with the mouse).

I want to make a more tactical shooter, walk in a city and after half a minute an enemy appears and you shoot him and collect some treasure or something.

Can this be done with your scripts or is it over the top shooting action ?

it´s totally possible, simply create a simple script that enables the Spawn Script property isSpawning when reach this time(half minute in your example), and the enemy have a loot script for determines the boject drop rate and the object that the enemies will drops when dies. Here it is the gamekit manual if all of you want to know what are the possibilities of this gamekit.

i´ve seen a small but preety critical bug(player shoot and moves when dies when used control type 2), today I´ll fix it ASAP.

Don´t worry if this manual is preety simple. If you want it more complex manual, simply tell me. But i think with the information of this manual is preety enough for understand all the aspects of the package(the information about the AIScript´s, and most important scripts, parameters are on it´s script commentaries).

UPDATE: I´ve decreased the price to 100$ (90$ this week) the indie license and 180$ the commercial license.

Don i will buy this if i can test the 3rd person view and I find that I can use that, the price is now much better.

along this weekend I´ll publish the last Update that add the next features:

  • Melee Attack for player.
  • Player speed variation depending on player orientation: Customizable backward and strafe movement speed.
  • Simple but very effective Obstacle Avoidance for the enemies.

Added the next features:

  • Character Controller and Character Controller 2 scripts: Added new properties that controls player velocity variation depending on character orientation.
  • Added a new AI script with the next different features:
  • Added Object avoidance, with a bunch of parameters for set up.
  • Changed the Enemy walk behaviour, customize the rotation parameter to set the speed that rotates for go to your position.
  • Added a melee attack script. You can control the time in the attack animation that the weapon makes damage. You must attach it to a Game Object with trigger collider

I want a better tutorial how to use your own player, it is easy to say just look at the examples .

You can use the the hero from the unity demo (soldier) and enemies from the fps example.

ersaurabh101: in the last update now have other AI script with simple object avoidance. I dunno if you´ve purchased my gamekit or activeden´s, but i can confirm you 2 things:

  1. I never played or purchased the activeden´s product.
  2. My AI Script was done since almost from scratch.
