3dsMax FBX Export Scale Problem

Hello,

so I started exporting some Models from max (which is setup using Meters) and I found a script here in the forums that automtically sets the scale in the FBX import to 1 instead of 0.01
That all works well.
When I drag the model into the scene, it will be the correct size, however in the inspector, it is scaled to 0.0254 on all axis.
Does anybody know why that is and how I fix that, so that it is actually the correct size and it is scaled to 1?

At first, I suspected that it had something to do with the import script, but when I deactivate it, it still has 0.0254 in scale, but it is much smaller since the import scale is at 0.01.

Unfortunatly, I couldnt find anything regarding this on the forums here.

Ok, so I found out what was going on. i forgot to set the System Units to Meters as well. Just in case anybody runs into the same issue :slight_smile:

Before exporting it out anything from 3ds max make sure you have hit (Reset Xform). Reset Xform is available in Utilities tab. After hitting reset xform, again right click–>convert to edit poly.
