"3DU" Game Competition

As some of you have noticed, we’re hosting a game development competition with iDevGames. The competition signup is open until December 18, and the game must be finished on December 22. You can win Unity Pro and Unity Indie licenses, plus high-end graphics cards from ATI.

Rules, prizes, signup here:

Take it away now!

One thing I’m not sure about is the “participation prize”:

Does that mean it’s akin to a nine-month demo, or that it’s a full-fledged Unity Indie license as long as it’s activated within nine months?

I believe it’s like the regular demo you can download, but for 9 months… I wish it was a full fledged version :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, that’s what I’m guessing, since the other thing would be basically handing out free Unity licenses to anyone with the faintest clue about how to use Unity.

Not that it makes a difference to me, as I intend to WIN this thing.

You’re on!!!

Im in too. Good luck everyone!

I cant for the life of me get my file size down. Is it possible to export to UB at only 1 resolution? I seem to be providing around 8 options for playing resolution.
Cheers

Also note that the requirements state zip compressed player size. So when checking your size make sure to check the size of the player after compressing.

And by the way, the amount of screen resolutions does not influence the player size in any way

Ohhh…

Great release guys. Youve souped up the docs nicely
