3rd person movment

Hi All,

I study how to make my own 3rd person controller and I have been trying to figure where to put the code of movment. One book says in Update() and one says in FixedUpdate() (both used the Input.GetAxis). I thought the FixedUpdate is for physics only.... So what do u say? should I put character movment code inside Update or FixedUpdate ?

Just put it in Update i always have :) FixedUpdate should be used instead of Update when dealing with Rigidbody. For example when adding a force to a rigidbody, you have to apply the force every fixed frame inside FixedUpdate instead of every frame inside Update.

so yea use Update if you are not using rigidbody :)
