Usually in the past I have been careful about upgrading to the next release as you cannot go back (revert the project). This time I installed Unity in a new directory vs upgrading the existing copy so I could start looking at the new training without interrupting my current project development.
After the install when it was complete Unity launched and started loading my current project right away without prompting me to upgrade it.
Is this something new?
