4.1 audio with unity

Hello,

I was wondering if Unity somehow supports 4.1 audio (4 speakers, 1 subwoofer), or if someone has made a custom solution? Currently we are using the unity audio spatializer (also utilizing the center speaker, which we do not have) to have a spatial audio source within the 4.1 setup. When moving the source in circular motion around the audio listener, everything sounds fine, except the interpolation between the front right and front left speaker, because the center is just skipped.

Maybe we could use the Native Audio Plugin SDK to build a customized solution. But we do not have the know-how and we also do not really know how to begin.

I came across the same problem! Did you find a solution yet? Did you find a Plugin or write one yourselves? I’m in the same boat. Don’t really have the know-how or time sadly.
