Looks like it packs in some pretty important bug fixes though. Nice to see it patched in rather than waiting for 4.3 
Indeed it is, but there is a usual slur of “I never knew this happened ;ijhfjianrlgkjnae” Because el editor update has a slight delay.
Getting iOS joystick support probably makes this slight update worth it all by itself.

From the simple tests i made with this version, seems like all problems i was having are gone and i can now work with Unity 4.2
