Woot woot!
Sooo, when is 4.4 out?
woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot!!!
Looks like its time to buy out Unity.com
Perfect timing, was going to start refactoring some code last night, glad I held off
Yay!
Downloaded and ran current project getting Error! fence == expectedFence???
Great news, but what happened to the new GUI system ?
They said later release will have gui.
at some unspecified point in 4.x
although how funny would it be if they just slipped it in… let you discover it yourself
Yeah I’m about to check in case they forgot to mention it.
Upgrade or not to upgrade…I’m uncertain
Anyone else not able to select iOS, Android etc. as build platform? (Without add-on pro license).
EDIT: Got it to work again. Had to re-activate the license (even though it was already activated).
Congrats to Unity!
The 2D integration looks great so far!
Also, this is the first release where I have some motivation to move our company over to Mecanim.
Nope, works fine here.
The new mono looks very nice.
I’m more interested in the 4.5… WHEN IS IT COMING??? GIVE US A DATE!
kidding
Fantastic new addition to Unity and i’m sure it will help many developers make their dream 2D game easier than ever.
Although this update was focused on 2D, i’m very happy with the optimizations they made to the terrain, culling, editor and more. It will sure help many developers that are also making 3d games like me.
Looking forward to see what they will add to Unity in future updates
Can the new navmesh be used to generate meshes for levels made at runtime (such as those made in a level editor)?
Damn! The “Document Outline” pad in the new Monodevelop doesn’t work with .js files :(.
I use this all the time for quick navigation between functions and whatnot. Works in 2.8, but not here…
My only gripe is that they still haven’t fixed nested prefabs :-/
