Is anyone else seeing this?
I’m running the Windows version and since updating to the latest I found our current project constantly leaks when just sat inactive after an initial run and stop in editor, gradually gobbling all the system memory until the machine grinds to a halt and has to be reset (around the 12 gig usage mark!)
I’ve re-opened Unity and created a blank scene in the project and have seen the same - initial memory use around 231,500k ish climbing around 2000k each time I play and stop. After around the 4th time I see the memory slowly creeping up 4k every 2 seconds without me doing anything in editor.
I’ve tried a new project and see an increase of 2000k each time I run and stop on an empty scene also.
Hi,
If you believe you have found a bug and want us to investigate then the best thing to do is report it: Unity QA: Building quality with passion
We may miss forum posts but we don’t miss bug reports

Thanks Karl,
Will do - was just checking if anyone else was experiencing similar issues or if I was going mad!

I take it nobody else sees any editor related memory issues? Seems to only be a problem after I’ve been playing the project.
I’ve taken to having to shut down when the memory usage climbs to 3-4 gig to avoid unexpected computer halting… Whats also strange is once I close the editor down - it seems to take ages for the Unity task to shut down in the background - often increasing its memory usage for a while before decreasing slowly over the course of a minute or so.
