Very strange - after upgrade today…poof, any ideas of what would Stop the rendering of my UI in the editor?, on some projects, not others…
not a trace…

It seems like a stupid thing, but have you tried ‘Reimport All’? Yeah, I know it sucks but that usually fixes issues like this.
I have them all backed up…I will try that last…because all of my ui are based on the same template…having one work, and the others just culling the UI in the editor, strange behavior that could be related to multi-monitor (I am using) will restart w/ just one monitor active, and see…beeZar!
@ Do you have a Root Canvas with no UI and then a child Canvas?
See Known Issue:
Yes…seems I do…but I can fix…turns out I have a single transform with a sprite, ‘window cracks’ image, which I enable in code, disabled by default, when a players collides with something , I enabled it, and play a sound.
when I enable in hierarchy, sceen view, UI comes back…3 out 4 projects exhibits this behavior…the other project works and plays like it should…odd…
And none of this affects the game view or what’s being displayed on my Android device, just the editor scene view tab…now I am thinking SpritePacker Pro?,( not unity’s…the one I bought).
Really , it is just peculiar , its not stopping me from doing anything…
Thanks!
That IS odd! A fix is scheduled for the first patch release
Don’t hesitate to ping me on this thread if the patch doesn’t solve the issue for you ![]()
Thanks again…what I am seeing…
A Sprite to Control them All (except project 3)
Project 1). UI Visibility controlled by Transform/Image Component state (enabled/disabled)
look at what is selected: If I disable this - the entire UI is hidden from Scene View Tab.
Project 2). UI Visibility controlled by Transform/Image Component state (enabled/disabled)
look at what is selected:If I disable this - the entire UI is hidden from Scene View Tab.
Project 3) No Problem…whatsoever!
Project 4). UI Visibility controlled by Transform/Image Component state (enabled/disabled)
look at what is selected:If I disable this - the entire UI is hidden from Scene View Tab.
Something is not like the other :-]

This might be worth submitting a bug report anyways. They may come back and say “this is already a bug”, but considering your scenario, they may find something else too! ![]()
