5.5.0f3 Sample project "... is in timestamps but is not known in assetdatabase"?

I’m using Unity Free, just downloaded and installed 5.5.0f3 including the standard assets sample project. When I open the project I get 64 errors like this:

C:/Program Files/Unity 5.5.0/Editor/Data/UnityExtensions/Unity/Advertisements/UnityEngine.Advertisements.dll’ is in timestamps but is not known in assetdatabase…

I tried saving the scene and project and then re-opening it, but the errors persist. Is there another package I need to download and install?
