This is my first WebGL build on 5.5. I’m getting artifacts on Edge, but it works fine on Chrome and Firefox. And only on materials using a substance output. I’m aware substances are baked on WebGL, but I’ve never had any problems before. Thankfully most people seem to be using Chrome. Anyone else? Solutions? Thanks.

I’m experiencing the same thing on 2017.4. I’m surprised no one else has mentioned this bug! Only seeing this on Edge Browser using Substance generated material.
Did you end up finding any workaround @topofsteel_1 ?
No I didn’t. You might try exporting the bitmaps from the substances and using them.
Well chrome/firefox support WebGL 2 (OpenGL ES 3.0) and Edge only supports WebGL 1 (OpenGL ES 2.0). Does it also not work on Safari (also only supports WebGL 1) or when you make a WebGL 1 only build?
My original post was from a year and a half ago, before WebGL 2 I believe. I’ll test it again when I have a chance. Thanks.
I believe 5.5 was the first version where WebGL 2 was turned on by default!
