Hello! Thrilled to announce that ENVIRONMENTAL PACKS V1.26 is live!
v1.26 new additions:
shader model 2 diffuseBumpedSpecularDetailBumped + diffuseBumpedSpecularSelfIllumDetailBumped are now fully functional and provide almost the same rendering as the PBR shader version
5 types of trees, 1 bush ( with a few variations of these)
new ground textures
new vegetation detail textures
dead branches with 4 skin variations
3 different stumps
v1.25 new additions:
4 custom caves entrances and 12 modular prefabs variations ( 36 if you mix and match with the 3 pediment variations).
4 pillars models with 3 pediment variations ( a destroyed version might make it in a future update)
Now all big rocks formation use detail textures to enhance visual quality.
Fire particle with script for the fire light to make it behaves in a more realistic way.
little script to make the illumination map change intensity and “blink” at run time
Know issues: detail shader for the legacy version of the big rock formation is still in development and have some few flaws: specular is only a color and its intensity a slider. The shader’s detail mask is not working right now: seams get visible…
V1.0 of this packs includes 2 set of rocks using up to 4096*4096 textures with whether PBR shader (specular set up) or legacy Bumped specular shader. All rocks have 3 LOD stages (LOD0/LOD1/LOD2) making them totally useable on mobile and older hardware.
Price of v1.25 : $55.00
The pack will receive several Add_Ons: Asteroid Pack / Ice Rocks Pack / Lava Rocks Pack / cave system (with cristals, mushrooms, gold nuggets, Iron nuggets, copper nuggets) / Smooth Mossy Rocks Pack. These Add-Ons will be free for the customer. Price will be raised upon each new Add-On released.

Sounds great. As for some quick requests I already have in mind.
Connector pieces to cellars, dungeons (door should be optional or not), dwarven halls (like a big gate, of course two versions again like destroyed/open), of course I don’t expect that cellars, dungeons or those halls go into this pack but a pack on it’s own. Maybe the connector pieces should be in a pack for themself also or in this one, don’t know, Just keep the option in mind that this can be enhanced later. But if this would be a base for underground sets then it should include the connectors, some simple first rooms and then enhance it later in another separate pack.
mine tunnels, including props like rails, pillars, torches and so on. This should be separate parts so you can just put them in where you like. As always I think prefabs are a plus for the people.
For caves and so on it would be good to have some stuff like different ramps/slopes for going up and down, maybe some chasm
Well overall just imagine how nice Moria looks for example.
some more different nuggets would be nice, silver, some black metals, different gems (red, green, yellow, purple, blue, orange) best thing would just be a way to be able to choose a color and how shiny it is I think,
and some way to have visible parts of veins for those metals and gems. Be able to attach it to the walls or ground with veins, small veins, no veins.
Yeah that’s some ideas for now. Might come up with some more maybe. ^^
Thanks for posting. Some interesting ideas here. I’ll see what’s possible to do regarding the mine tunnels. In order to have a rail system support, it would definitely need to use the snap vertex feature.
Dwarven halls, and connector gates to reach whether dungeon, cellars or catacomb can be nice.
Chasms can be created and authored specifically for each single project. I don’t think I would create such thing on its own.
As long as the connector pieces are there and you have the possibility to make add ons Iam happy. Just need to be able to use it without loadscreen for every single cave or transition.
About the rail system I think it’s good to have props that can be used everywhere. So basically using the wooden part to make sure uneven terrain is no problem. Such system would need straight, turns, down, up, stopper, switch and bridge parts, maybe even some elevator. Well even those can propably be a system on their own, however you decide. I would think to just have an optional add on for the wooden part to have it bigger if too much space below. So you can just put more wood there to have it fit.
What I would love to see too is acid, lava and water lakes, frozen caves and really big mushrooms you can jump on and the like. If you happen to know D&D Online you get the idea.

I wonder a bit about not that many people discussing in here yet which normally would for sure. Maybe try to rename the topic into Environments: Cave & Rocks or something like that. Even I thought from just reading the topic, oh I already have rocks, but lets take a look what rosor does, and then I read about crystals, nuggets, caves and mushrooms and thought wow great whole cave system.
Hope you’ll like the pack and the updates to come. Not sure if you left a review or even downloaded the pack. What you said makes sense about the title of this thread. I already named the Asset Store package differently, Will do the same here.

Have not directly downloaded it but did so now. But got some bug with the prefabs and materials, propably cause I’m not at v5.0.1 yet. Updating Unity right now.
Ow, yeah, you need to update. … or else all will be messed up. Had a freelance gig recently where my client had the same issue. Updating will solve everything.

In V1.2, I’ll be adding a nice cave system with stalactites, stalagmites, glowing crystals (several colors), mushrooms, giant glowing mushrooms, Cave corridors sections ( cross section, T section, 90° turn section, straight section), additional cave rocks, roots.
In V1.25, addition of some kind of connectors to dungeons.
If you’re interested in this pack, I would recommend to get it early before price goes up to quickly.
